Susana estudió Ingeniería de Materiales en la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid y posteriormente completó un Máster en Consultoría de Negocio. Aunque no tiene formación académica en arte, ha sido una apasionada de la pintura desde su infancia. Inició su trayectoria artística con lápices y carboncillo, luego exploró las acuarelas, y a los 10 años descubrió su amor por el óleo.

Comenzó a definir su estilo durante su estancia en Italia. Las esculturas tomadas como modelo no las escogía al azar: despertaban una conexión especial y conseguían que viera reflejado en ellas todo lo que quería transmitir. Un medio para liberar sus emociones. Y aunque todas narran historias de la mitología clásica tan preciosas como a la vez trágicas, en sus lienzos cobran un significado totalmente diferente… sin perder su esencia.

Actualmente, Susana se inspira en la pintura barroca, especialmente en el uso dramático del claroscuro, adaptándolo a su estilo personal y manteniendo la esencia que la caracteriza. Movimiento, telas, transparencias y rostros que reflejan la parte más humana y a la vez divina.

Su obra se caracteriza por el uso de blanco, sombra tostada y negro, con pinceladas finas, calmadas y suaves, contrastadas con una técnica de espátula marcada y expresiva.  Fusionando el fondo con la figura, aporta a sus obras un dinamismo y libertad únicos.

Susana studied Materials Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Madrid and later completed a Master's in Business Consulting. Although she does not have academic training in art, she has been passionate about painting since her childhood. She began her artistic journey with pencils and charcoal, then explored watercolors, and at the age of 10, she discovered her love for oil painting.

​

She began to define her style during her stay in Italy. The sculptures she chose as models were not selected at random; each awakened a special connection and allowed her to see reflected in them everything she wanted to convey. A means to release her emotions. And although they all tell stories of classical mythology as beautiful as they are tragic, in her canvases they take on a completely different meaning... without losing their essence.

 

Currently, Susana is inspired by Baroque painting, especially in the dramatic use of chiaroscuro, adapting it to her personal style and maintaining the essence that characterizes her. Movement, fabrics, transparencies, and faces that reflect the most human and divine aspects.

 

Her work is characterized by the use of white, toasted shadow, and black, with fine, calm, and soft brushstrokes, contrasted with a marked and expressive spatula technique. By merging the background with the figure, she brings a unique dynamism and freedom to her works.
